Mother-Son Dance
I had the wonderful pleasure of attending the Mother-Son Dance at my son’s school this past Friday. He was the best date I have had since my divorce.
The only problem was that he refused to dance with me. He claimed it would be embarrassing to dance with me in front of all his friends from school. I was quite surprised by this remark, as I did not think these feelings of embarrassment came until they were about eight or so.
He left me sitting alone most of the night. Frankly, I am quite used to that lately the way my social life as been. So, I just enjoyed the peace and quiet for a while listening to the music. A few moments later, my son came running up to me stating he had fallen and bumped his head on the floor. As I proceeded to check the back of his head for blood, I was not prepared for what I actually found. It was the biggest bump I have ever seen or felt on anyone’s head.
I have never been the parent that handles injuries very well. I always left that up to my ex husband. But I got to tell you, I learned really fast. I kept an eye on him for the next 30 minutes or so, and then we left. By the time morning came, he was just fine. I am thankful to God he was fine. I do not know what I would have done if my baby was seriously injured.

Where I am from, we call that a "punkin head". It looks bad but clears up quickly. Looks like you did yourself up nicely for that dance. Pretty hot!
I don't know how to dance and was dancing, because I think if my son invited me to dance then we dance! I had great time... and only me and my sweet boy!!! :)
We need to go out...maybe when you finish with moving out???
