Shhhh......Be Quiet

In a busy loud world, we all need some peace and quiet. It gives us time to gather our thoughts and to just reflect on the day’s activities. I myself love the quiet times. I take advantage of them when I can. I have three kids and quiet time is rare. In the morning when I drive to work I enjoy that quiet time because I know once I get to work there is no such thing as quiet time there. No, I don’t work in a busy or loud atmosphere. I work in an office and sit in a cubicle all day. The noise in fact comes from a co worker who just does not understand how to turn the volume down on her voice.

She has been told numerous times to tone it down. In fact, she has had her desk moved several times since I have been here because everyone complains how loud she is. She has no regards to anyone else here but herself. What makes this person so unique is her ability to complain about other people talking too loud and disturbing her. Really? Is she kidding?

What is even more annoying is her ability to talk about everyone else as if they are idiots. No one is as smart as her, according to her. Of course, when she is talking about someone else, all you hear is whispering. It’s actually kind of funny though because she really thinks she is normal. Poor, poor girl. I wonder how it feels to go to work everyday knowing only two or maybe three people actually like you. But then again, she probably has no clue.
