Cleaning Out My Closet

Wow, I should have done this long ago. I just cannot believe how much weight I have lost in the last few years. I can really tell because when I look at the clothes I used to wear, I could use them for tarp when I move my stuff into my new home.

I look at these clothes and I wonder why they are all so frumpy. Was I that disgusted with my body at the time that I did not care about fashion? They say you are supposed to embrace your curves, but I don’t think they mean wear tight clothes that show every roll you have. And believe me; I have seen some overweight people that do not have a clue on how to dress. I think the clothes should cling and accentuate your curves, but not be tight enough where I see every fold and roll in your body. Funny thing is that some women think they look good. They think that their body is fine that way. Let me tell you something, IT IS NOT! It is unhealthy and the medical risks of being overweight are astronomical! High blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, the list goes on and on. And we all pay more in health costs because of this. Oh, and wearing a big huge shirt that covers your ass does nothing for you except draw attention to the fact that you are overweight and don’t know how to dress.

All I can say is that I am glad I am not overweight. I finally am out of my size 16 clothes and into a more sexy 8. I feel better, I am more energetic, and my confidence level has risen. I am not tired and listless anymore.

Look at Kirstie Alley! Wow, congratulations to her! She looks great! Keep up the good work for all you ladies out there trying to lose some weight. It is one tough battle, and I pray I don’t have to go through that battle again. But when you finally reach your goal weight, you will pat yourself on the back and say to yourself “Good job!”

So ladies, if you are reading this and you are overweight, get healthy and lose that weight! I know it is difficult, but you CAN do it! And for those of you that already have taken that first step, good luck to you! I wish you all the best and a healthy lifestyle! I could not be happier that I have lost my weight!

Sorry, but I just can't seem to schedule any photo sessions with any photographers. It seems that they're all busy photographing other women with their "wide-angle" lenses. LOL.
